gff2aplot software package provides pair-wise alignment-plots for genomic sequences in PostScript, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gff2aplot
gff2aplot is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gff2aplot package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gff2aplot *
You will get with gff2aplot package name, version, architecture and description in a table
